Kimberly Dawn Powers, 24, of Carrollton died suddenly April 18, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Her daughter, Telisa Jailyn Powers, age 5, also died in the accident with her mother. Kimberly was born in Athens, Tennessee, on January 13, 1989, the daughter of Telisa Ann Jones Powers and the late Timothy D. Powers, Sr. She lived her lifetime in this area and was an honor graduate of Villa Rica High School. She worked as a stay-at-home mom for her two children and was a devoted and loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of Midway West Baptist Church, 3160 West Highway 166, Carrollton, where she served as part of the hospitality team and was a member of Life Group. In addition to her father, Timothy D. Powers, Sr., who died on April 29, 2009, she was preceded in death by her brother, Justin Lee Powers, her paternal grandfather, Dalton Powers and her paternal grandmother, Betty Willis Powers. Survivors include her mother, Telisa Jones Powers of Carrollton; her infant son, Tavarius Cardell Smith of Carrollton; maternal grandfather, Millard James Jones of Villa Rica; maternal grandmother, Martha Dalton of Cleveland, Tennessee; two brothers, Timothy Keith Powers, Jr. and Kevin Lamar Powers, both of Carrollton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted for Kimberly Dawn Powers and her daughter, Telisa Jailyn Powers on Monday, April 22, 2013, at 5:00 P.M. from the chapel of the J. Hoyt Thomas Funeral Home with Pastor Hal Waters and Pastor Keith Jiles officiating. Pallbearers will be Brett Powers, Shane Smith, Matthew Perkins, Rusty Crowder, Dale Lipham and Jeff Bishop. Timothy Keith Powers Sr., 45, of Holly Creek Drive, Carrollton, died April 29, 2009. He was born in Carroll County on Nov. 12, 1963. He lived his entire lifetime in this area and was a retired residential painter and a member of Midway Macedonia Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Telisa Powers; sons, Timothy Keith Powers Jr. and Kevin Powers; daughter, Kimberly Powers; sister and brother-in-law Tracie and Randy Culberson; sister, Lynn Bragg; and brother, Steve Powers. He is preceded in death by his father, Dalton Powers, and mother, Betty Willis Powers; son, Justin Lee Powers; and brother, Kenneth Lee Powers. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 2, at 2 p.m. at J. Hoyt Thomas Funeral Home in Villa Rica with the Rev. Keith Jiles officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Macedonia Baptist Cemetery. Dalton Powers: Dalton Powers, 61, 285 Akin Road, Carrollton, died Nov. 2, 1990 following a one car accident on McKenzie Bridge Road. He was born in Carroll County, April 19, 1929, son of the late William Lonnie and Alice Alberta Duke Powers. He had lived in Carroll County all of his life. He was an attendant at Haynes Chevron Service Station and a Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife, the former Jackie Price Samples; four daughters, Sandra Massengale and Peggy Rollins of Bowdon, Tracie Powers and Lynn Powers of Carrollton; two sons, Steve Powers and Tim Powers of Carrollton; 20 grandchildren; three sisters, Annie Kate Wyatt, Opal Gay and Edna Richardson, all of Carrollton; and two brothers, Garland Powers and Clarence Powers of Carrollton. Services were conducted Monday, Nov. 5, from Lee's Chapel Church with Rev. Grant Finnell officiating. Music was by Newt and Louise Holmes. Pallbearers were Jackie Cook, Jerrell Haynes, Winston Harper, Jerry Phillips, Bobby Harper and Jackie Richardson. Interment was in the church cemetery with the American Legion Post 143 folding and presenting the flag. Martin & Hightower West Center Street Chapel of Carrollton was in charge of arrangements.

4. Catherine Powers was born on March 17, 1836 in Kullican Parish, Westmeath County, Ireland.
5. Mary Powers was born March 15, 1839 in Killucan Parish, Westmeath County, Ireland.
6. Esther Henrietta Powers was born on April 13, 1845.
They had the following children:
