Rachel Mae Ritchie

Rachel Mae Ritchie (daughter of Charles C. Ritchie and Mary Elizabeth Nidiffer) was born on January 26, 1924 in West Virginia.  She died on April 11, 2003.  She married Vaughn J. Cozort (son John Harrison Cozort and Triza Eclantine McGraw). He was born on July 25, 1906 in West Virginia.  He died in November 1985.

1.  Elizabeth Catherine Cozort was born on October 2, 1961.

She married David Harold Lamb (son of Okey Johnson Lamb and Goldie Bailey).  He was born on April 3, 1921 in Wyoming County, West Virginia.  He died on August 7, 1989 in Beckley, Raleigh, West Virginia.  

David Harold Lamb was buried in Kennedy Cemetery in Crany, Wyoming, West Virginia.

There were no children to this union.

Note:
Vaughn J. Cozort enlisted into the military on April 15, 1942 and served during WWII.

David Harold Lamb was married once before to Mildred Lee Cook (1923-1927) with whom he had the following children: Larry Lamb, Michael Ross Lamb, Vicki Lamb, and Kenny Lamb.

Bernard A. Bailey

Bernard A. Bailey (son of Inghrum Bailey and Hattie Ann Canterbury) was born on March 9, 1925 in Arista, Mercer, West Virginia.  He died on January 29, 2001.  He married Nancy M. Lamb (daughter of Okey Johnson Lamb and Goldie Bailey) on November 30, 1946 in Oceana, Wyoming, West Virginia.  She was born on November 15, 1928 in Glen Morgan, Raleigh, West Virginia.  She died on December 11, 2020 in Oceana, Wyoming, West Virginia.

Nancy M. Lamb is buried at Palm Memorial Gardens in Matheny, Wyoming, West Virginia.

1.  Linda Sue Bailey was born on December 18, 1947.

Nancy M. Bailey, 92, of Oceana, passed away Friday December 11, 2020. Born November 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Oakie and Goldie Lamb. Nancy is the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a talented quilter and a wonderful cook. Nancy was a beautiful soul inside and out. She will be sadly missed by all.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Bernard A. Bailey Sr.; her daughter, Linda Morea;  sons in law, Earl Stewart and Randy Kennedy; sisters, Iris Cline, Virginia Walker, Mary Bailey, Hazel Evans, Helen Rollins and Ruby Parker; brothers, Bernard, Harold and Franklin Lamb and her father and mother in law, Ingram and Hattie Bailey.
Those left to cherish her memory are sons, David M. Bailey and Bernard Bailey and his wife Lakie; daughters, Brenda Ann Turner and her husband Jim, Alice Stewart and Melanie Kennedy and son in law, Richard Morea; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Seldon Ralph Bailey

Seldon Ralph Bailey (son of Inghrum Bailey and Hattie Ann Canterbury) was born on May 10, 1923 in Arista, Mercer, West Virginia.  He died in August 1984 in Kopperston, Wyoming, West Virginia.  He married Mary Elizabeth Lamb (daughter of Okey Johnson Lamb and Goldie Bailey) on February 24, 1951 in Wyoming County, West Virginia.  She was born on April 21, 1931 in Oceana, Wyoming, West Virginia.  She died on April 8, 2002 in Princeton, Mercer, West Virginia.

Seldon Ralph Bailey and Mary Elizabeth Lamb were buried in Palm Memorial Gardens in Matheny, Wyoming, West Virginia.

Mary Lamb's birth certificate states she was born in Oceana, WV, but her obituary states she was born in Bolt, WV.

Mary Elizabeth Lamb-Bailey, 70, of Oceana died on Monday, April 8, 2002, in Princeton Community Hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker and a member of Toneda Baptist Church.
She was born on April 21, 1931 in Bolt to the late Okey Johnson Lamb  and Goldie Bailey-Lamb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Seldon Ralph Bailey; two brothers, David "Harold" Lamb and Bernard Lamb; and four sisters, Ruby Lamb-Parker, Hazel Agnes Lamb-Evans, Virginia Lou Lamb-Walker and Iris Lamb-Cline.
Survivors include a son, Ralph Bailey & wife Pennie Bailey of Trinity, NC; a daughter, Barbara Bailey-Snuffer & husband Gary Snuffer of Kopperston; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Graham & husband Robbie Graham of Kopperston, Sarah Snuffer of Kopperston, Jason Bailey and Lauren Bailey, both of Trinity; a great-granddaughter, Danielle Graham of Kopperston; a brother, Franklin "Frank" Lamb of Rosedale, CA; and two sisters, Nancy M. Lamb-Bailey of Oceana and Helen Lamb-Rollins of Virginia Beach, VA.
Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Adam Toler Memorial Chapel, Oceana, with the Rev. Ron Lee officiating. Entombment will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Matheny.
