Notes
Thomas had 3 children we do not know about. The ages for the boys seems to be close to what I have in the tree. In 1830 there were two boys 5-10 and in 1840, there was 1 20-30 and 1 10-15, so the only dates that really correspond with both census records are 1820 and 1825. The other daughter was born between 1831 and 1835, according to the 1840 census.
A possible match for the oldest son of Thomas and Sally may be William H. Farmer, born in 1820. He is living in Oglethorpe County in 1850, 1860 and 1880. He married Mary Jane and had several children. I have not been able to place William with any other family. Sarah Jane Farmer, born in 1830 and who married Thomas J. Hardin could be the unknown daughter of Thomas and Salley. She and Thomas were married in 1846 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia.
