Mattie Turner Mayfield

Mattie Turner Mayfield (daughter of Marion Asbury Mayfield and Eunice O. Hall) was born on August 12, 1923 in Villa Rica, Carroll, Georgia.  She died on June 11, 2014.   She married Robert Lee Autry (son of William Autry and Cora) in 1943.  He was born on October 27, 1915 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.  He died on August 6, 2010.

Mattie Turner Mayfield and Robert Lee Autry were buried in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, Paulding, Georgia.

Mattie Turner Autry, age 90, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. She was born on August 12, 1923, in Villa Rica, GA, to the late Marion & Eunice Mayfield, and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "R.L" Autry; and brothers, Charles Mayfield and Robert Mayfield.
Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Chalmers & Georgia Mayfield of Douglasville, GA; cousin, Brenda Taliaferro; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014, at 11 a.m., from Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Neal Williams and Reverend Doug Berry officiating.
Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 12, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Robert Lee Autry, age 94, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010. He was born on October 27, 1915, in Pauls Valley, OK, to the late William and Cora Autry. Mr. Autry was an United States Army Veteran.
Survivors are his wife of 67 years, Mattie Autry of Dallas; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Dale Autry of Missouri, and Frank & Karen Autry of Mississippi; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 9, 2010, at 11 a.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Lloyd Latham officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 8, 2010, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Deloris Katherine Bailey

Deloris Katherine Bailey (daughter of Robert Bailey and Peggy Hilliard) was born on July 14, 1941 in Joplin, Missouri.  She died on October 20, 2007.  She married Mr. Saunders.

Deloris Katherine Bailey was buried in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Douglas, Georgia.

Chalmers Mayfield, age 84, of Douglasville, GA passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016.
He was born on December 31, 1932 in Villa Rica, GA to the late Marion Asberry & Eunice Hall Mayfield.
He was also preceded in death by his former wife, Delores Bailey Mayfield; a sister, Mattie Autry; son in law, Kelly Chandler.
Mr. Mayfield worked for General Motors for more than 25 years. He was a member of New Genesis Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge for more than 30 years, and is currently a member of the Dallas Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Jackson Mayfield, of Douglasville, GA; sons, David Saunders of MS, Steven Saunders of Dallas, GA; daughters, Jacquelyn Chandler of Gainesville, GA, Debra Osborn, of Austin, TX, Sandy Mayfield of Dallas, GA; several grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 03, 2017 from the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery

Deloris Katherine "Bailey" Mayfield, 66, of Old Mill Road, Cartersville, Georgia passed away, Saturday, October 20, 2007. She was born July 14, 1941 in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of the late Robert and Peggy "Hilliard" Bailey. She worked for a retail grocer as cashier and was Baptist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, George Dupree. She is survived by her husband, Marion Chalmus Mayfield, of Cartersville, Georgia; two sons; David Saunders of Oxford, Mississippi and Steven Saunders of Cartersville, Georgia; two daughters; Debbie Osborn of Austin, Texas and Sandy Mayfield of Douglasville, Georgia; and one brother; Bobby Howard Bailey of Honalulu, Hawaii; three sisters; Mary McGivens of Slydell, Louisiana, Susan Bailey of Baltimore, Maryland, Diane Holroyd of Mulbane, Kansas, and seven grandchilden.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the Hightower's Memorial Chapel, Douglasville, Georgia with Reverend Buddy Gentry officiating. Marion Chalmers Mayfield

Marion Chalmers Mayfield (son of Marion Asbury Mayfield and Eunice O. Hall) was born on December 31, 1932 in Villa Rica, Carroll, Georgia.  He died on December 31, 2016 in Douglas County, Georgia.  He married Delores Katherine Bailey (daughter of Robert Bailey and Peggy Hilliard).  She was born on July 14, 1941 in Joplin, Missouri.  She died on October 20, 2007.

Marion Chalmers Mayfield was buried in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Douglas, Georgia.

He married Georgia Betty Jackson (daughter of Grover Lamar Jackson and Eunice Viola).  She was born on June 19, 1938 in Georgia.  She died on June 19, 2019 in Paulding County, Georgia.

Georgia Betty Jackson was buried at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, Paulding, Georgia.

There were no children to this union.

Georgia had a daughter name Jacquelyn who was first married to Kenneth Rogers and then to Kelly Chandler.  I do not know who Georgia's first husband was or what Jacquelyn's maiden name would be.

Obituary of Georgia Betty Jackson Mayfield - June 2019
Georgia Betty Mayfield, age 81, of Douglasville (Paulding County), passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital.
Ms. Mayfield was born in Atlanta, GA, on June 19, 1938 to the late Grover Lamar Jackson and Eunice Viola Jackson. She was a faithful member of New Genesis Baptist Church. Ms. Mayfield was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Chalmers Mayfield; son in laws, Kenneth Rogers and Kelly Chandler; brother, Don Jackson and a sister, Elaine McFarland.
Survivors include her daughters, Jackie Chandler of Gainsville, GA, Sandy Mayfield of Douglasville, GA; three brothers, Wesley and Annette Jackson of Louisville, KY, Charles and Ellen Jackson of Fairburn, GA, and Larry Jackson of Douglasville, GA; three sisters, Bonnie and Roy Wallace of Douglasville, GA, Diane and Morgan Turner of Villa Rica, GA, and Debra Lucas of Douglasville, GA; extended generations and special friends.
The Funeral service for Ms. Mayfield will be held in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 3:00 PM. Interment will be at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery

Charles Asbury Mayfield

Charles Asbury Mayfield (son of Marion Asbury Mayfield and Eunice O. Hall) was born on March 14, 1921 in Carroll County, Georgia.  He died on February 24, 1995 in Dothan, Houston, Alabama.  He married Georgia Belle Henry on April 13, 1940 in Carroll County, Georgia.  She was born on May 19, 1922 in Cullman County, Alabama.  She died on October 9, 1955 in Cullman County, Alabama.

Charles Asbury Mayfield was buried at Memory Hill Cemetery in Dothan, Houston, Alabama.  Georgia Belle Henry was buried in Oakview Memorial Gardens in Flint City, Morgan, Alabama.

Robert Carlton Mayfield (son of Marion Asbury Mayfield and Eunice O. Hall) was born on May 28, 1925 in Georgia.  He died on September 6, 2000.  He married Annie M. Deal (daughter of James C. Deal and Ida E.) on February 9, 1946.  She was born on February 28, 1925 in Georgia.  She died on April 5, 1980.

Robert Carlton Mayfield and Annie M. Deal are buried at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lithia Springs, Douglas, Georgia.

The Social Security Death Index has the day of his birth on the 28th but his grave stone says the 29th.

Eunice O. Hall (daughter of Charles Monroe Hall and Mary Adeline Weaver) was born on May 28, 1893 in Georgia.  She died in April 24, 1973.   He married Marion Asbury Mayfield (son of Robert W. Mayfield and Martha C.).  He was born in August 1895 in Georgia.  He died on April 16, 1973 in Paulding County, Georgia.

Eunice O. Hall and Marion Asbury Mayfield were buried in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Douglas, Georgia.
