J. M. Boles (son of Elam Farmer Boles and Mary Jones) was born in 1824 in Kentucky.  He married S. E.  She was born in 1835 in Kentucky.

Elam Farmer Boles

Elam Farmer Boles (son of Thomas Boles and Tabitha Farmer) was born on September 8, 1798 in Virginia.  He died on May 20, 1857 in Cumberland County, Kentucky.  He married Mary Jones.  Mary was born on September 18, 1800 in Virginia.  She died on August 9, 1873.

Children of Elam Farmer Boles and Mary Jones are: 
1.  J. M. Boles was born in 1824.
2.  Mary Boles was born in 1843 in Kentucky.

Tabitha Farmer

Tabitha Farmer (daughter of Elam Farmer) was born on February 13, 1775 in Virginia. She died on November 13, 1846 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. She married Thomas Boles on February 6, 1797 in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Thomas was born on May 5, 1775 in Virginia. He died on January 21. 1861 in Kentucky.

Tabitha and Thomas are buried at the Burkesville/Boles Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.

Children of Tabitha Farmer and Thomas Boles are:
1. Elam Farmer Boles was born on September 8, 1798.
2. Dorcas Boles
3. Peggy Boles

Notes
Thomas served in the War of 1812 as a Private in the 10th Regiment of the Kentucky Militia.
