Denise Carter

Denise Carter (daughter of Rupert Ellis Carter and Alma Lona Cassell).  She married Mr. Vincent.

Alma Lona Cassell

Alma Lona Cassell (daughter of Joseph Millard Cassell and Daisy VanDella Hall) was born on March 23, 1916 in Texas, Heard, Georgia.  She died on March 28, 2003 in Newnan, Coweta, Georgia.  She married Rupert Ellis Carter.  He was born on March 12, 1909.  He died on October 26, 1986.

Alma Lona Cassell was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan, Coweta, Georgia.  Rupert Ellis Carter was buried in Shadowlawn Cemetery in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett, Georgia.

Theodocia Farmer

Theodocia Farmer (daughter of George Farmer and Nancy) was born in 1806 in Georgia. She married Magnus Carter on February 2, 1826 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. Magnus was born in 1801 in Georgia.

Children of Theodocia Farmer and Magnus Carter are
1. Male Carter was born in 1826 in Georgia.
2. Nancy H. Carter was born on August 25, 1828.
3. Mary Susan Carter was born on February 11, 1831 in Georgia. She died on July 4, 1886. Mary is buried at Carter/Fleeman Cemetery in Arnoldsville, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
4. Elbert Berry Carter was born in 1833.
5. Female Carter was born in 1836 in Georgia.
6. Elvira Frances Carter was born in January 1840.

Notes
The birth years for the male and female Carter children were estimated from the 1830 and 1840 census records and by comparing the ages of the other children.

Henry Farmer

Henry Farmer (son of George Farmer and Nancy) was born in 1795 in Virginia. He died in 1873. He married Eliza Carter on March 28, 1816 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia.

Children of Henry Farmer and Eliza Carter are:
1.  Nancy E. Farmer was born in 1817.
2.  Susan Caroline Farmer was born on October 6, 1819.
3.  Charles G. Farmer was born in 1822.
4.  Elizabeth Jane Farmer was born in 1823.

He married Keziah Jennings on December 22, 1825 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia.

Children of Henry Farmer and Keziah Jennings are:
5.  Robert Farmer was born in 1826 in Georgia.
6.  William N. Farmer was born in 1829 in Georgia.
7.  Joseph T. Farmer was born in 1831 in Georgia.
8.  Frances E. Farmer was born in 1836.

He married Margaret L. Bledsoe. She was born on January 2, 1805 in Greene County, Georgia. She died on April 25, 1887.

Children of Henry Farmer and Margaret L. Bledsoe are:
9.  James Henry Farmer was born in 1840.
10. Margaret M. Farmer was born in 1843 in Georgia.
11. Georgia Ann Farmer was born on August 28, 1850.

Notes
1820 Census: It is my belief that the 1 male and 1 female listed as 10-15 are siblings rather than children. Henry and his wife were married in 1816 and therefore only the two younger would be their children.
1830 Census: In this census, there are 3 daughters aged 5-9. One is Elizabeth. I do not know who the other two are. They could possibly be daughters of Keziah from a previous marriage. It does not seem likely to be theirs and not sure if there would have been time for he and Eliza to have 2 more daughters, unless they were twins? There also seems to be another male child as well who may be Henry and Eliza'a. He would have been born between 1816 and 1820.
Henry Farmer witnessed the will of George Whitsell, Senr. of Oglethorpe Co., GA on Nov. 22, 1820.
