Charles Stanley Weaver (son of Alonzo Grady Weaver and Mae Agnes Riley) was born on January 13, 1931 in Janesville, Rock, Wisconsin. He died on September 3, 2017. He married Catherine Beggan on December 4, 1954 in Champaign County, Illinois. She was born non June 5, 1933 in Glasgow, Scotland. She died in 1996.

Obituary of Charles Stanley Weaver - 2017Stan was born in Janesville, Wisconsin in 1931. His family moved back to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1934 and then to Minneola, Florida where Stan was raised on his family's citrus farm. He was an avid football and basketball player as well as serving on the Student Council. Stan was also a first alternate for West Point Academy. He often referred to Clermont as God’s country and long after the family home was sold, continued to take his boat up there for a day of fishing on Lake Mineola with his grandsons. Additionally, he always stayed in touch with his family and friends there and to the end swore Jack's BBQ was his favorite food on earth. Stan later attended the University of Florida on an ROTC scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. In order to raise money for those years he and his best friend Charlie Marshall spent time in the merchant marines sailing across the Great Lakes delivering ore, wheat and other commodities. All that for a dollar an hour. After his graduation from the University of Florida in 1952 (Go Gators!) he went to work for General Electric in their sales engineering training program in NYC and it was also there that he met Cathy for the first time and offered to "buy her a hot dog!". They were married in 1954 and then served in the Air Force where they lived in France while he performed missions in Turkey, Egypt and parts of Europe. In 1957 Stan joined the Trane Company and spent two years living in Gainesville with Cathy where they also served as houseparents for his beloved fraternity and had their only child, Patrice. They then relocated to Tampa, Florida with Trane where he worked until 1967. That year Stan accepted a position with the Middleton Company to manage their Tampa office where he stayed until 1978 when Stan Weaver & Company was founded. In 1996 the company opened a second office in Orlando, FL and in 2008 a third office in Jacksonville, FL. He has led the company for over 30 years with his experience and integrity. He is remembered by his company family as one of the greatest gentlemen of the HVAC industry. Stan also believed in giving back to his community and has been past president of Gyro, ASHRAE, Kiwanis, and his beloved Toastmasters as well as being a member of Palm Ceia Country Club. He loved history, collecting and refinishing antiques, and he never missed the annual Rock & Gem show with his daughter at Fort Homer Hesterly Armory. Most of all he loved his family and SWC. Stan remarried in 2001 after Cathy's passing in 1996, to his present wife Betty Perenich Weaver. He is survived by her, his daughter Patrice Weaver, Grandchildren Valerie McAuliffe, Rob Bauer, Jim Bauer, and Catherine Bauer as well as Betty's 9 children, and multiple grandchildren.
