Mary Anne Joiner

Mary Anne Joiner was born in 1921 in Georgia.  She married Willis Eugene Banks (son of Willis Grady Banks and Nellie Coe Parmelee) on February 11, 1939 in Spalding County, Georgia.  He was born on December 22, 1915 in Georgia.  He died on March 8, 1952.

Willis Eugene Banks was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin, Spalding, Georgia.

1.  Mary Kathryn Banks was born on August 5, 1942.  She died on January 15, 2019.  She is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin, Spalding, Georgia.

She married George N. Thomas (son of George N. Thomas).

Notes: 
Mary Anne had one other child:  Elizabeth Anne, but I do not know which husband was her father.

Miss Mary Kathryn Banks (Kay), passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Renaissance Health and Rehab Center.
She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Anne Thomas, her father Willis Eugene Banks, and her step-father, George N. Thomas Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Griffin.
Miss Banks is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Anne Mayo (Roger); her brother, George N. Thomas III (Charlotte); nephews, Michael Ray Redding Jr., Benjamin Anson Mayo; nieces Mary Rachel Hernandez, Brooks Marie Vizzini, and Curry Anice Anderson, as well as several cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, January 18, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, with a funeral service following at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery

Wayne Evans Hylton

Wayne Evan Hylton (son Samuel Evan Hylton and Violet Beatrice Looney) was born on April 24, 1955.  He married Patsy Aline Canterbury (daughter of Raymond Verdie Canterbury and Virginia Mathan Haywood) on September 23, 1972 in Sparta, Alleghany, North Carolina.  She was born on January 28, 1956.  She died in January 2001.  

Children from this union are unknown.

He married Sandra Kay Thomas (daughter of Opie Jack Thomas and Verna Christine Tolley on July 19, 1978 in Pearisburg, Giles, Virginia.  She was born on August 3, 1949.

Children to this union are unknown.

Notes:
Sandra was married once before to a Mr. Pettrey

George F. Hawks

George F. Hawks (son of Henry Hawks and Elizabeth Farmer) was born in 1816 in Georgia. He married Sarah E. Thomas on January 22, 1865 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. She was born in 1846 in Georgia. She died on February 14, 1926 in Athens, Clarke, Georgia.

1. Mary E. Hawks was born in 1865.
2. B. Attus Hawks was born in 1874 in Georgia.
3. Joseph Samuel Hawkes was born on September 23, 1878.

Claudia Mantlo

Claudia Mantlo (daughter of Richard W. Mantlo and Georgia Ann Farmer) was born in August 1874 in Kentucky. She married J. Morrison Thomas on November 5, 1891 in Robertson County, Tennessee.. He was born in March 1870 in Tennessee.

Claudia Mantlo and J. Morrison Thomas had the following child:
1.  James Thomas was born in 1905 in Tennessee.
