Marianne Jackson

Marianne Jackson was born on April 6, 1929 in College Park, Paulding, Georgia.  She died on June 4, 2007.  She married Joseph Ryland Hall (son of William Clifford Hall and Helen Claire Hollomon) was born on May 4, 1929 in Dallas, Paulding, Georgia.  He died on October 18, 1982 in Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia.

She married Elmer Horace Brinkley.  He was born on August 28, 1922.  He died on October 15, 2010.

Elmer Horace Brinkley, age 88, of Riverdale and College Park, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marianne Jackson Brinkley, his parents, Hattie Lou and James W. Brinkley, siblings, Ruth Hubbard, Bertha Crawford, Wesley "Buddy" Brinkley, and William Arnold Brinkley. He is survived by his children Laura Brinkley Chapman of McDonough, David Brinkley of Riverdale, and Mary Jo (Hall) West of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Nick Retzloff, Amanda Retzloff, Jeff Chapman, Molly Mahoney; great grandchild, Sonny Nolan; nephew, Robert Harold Hubbard and wife Dorothy. Horace served in the U.S. Army as a Technical Sergeant in the Quartermaster Corps and spent four years abroad in WWII in the North African and Italian Campaigns. Upon return, he spent much of his adult life working for Minton-Jones Office Supply in East Point. He was a longtime member of College Park First Baptist Church and lived his entire life as a true Christian giving to others. There was nothing he would not do for any of his children.

Marion Chalmers Mayfield

Marion Chalmers Mayfield (son of Marion Asbury Mayfield and Eunice O. Hall) was born on December 31, 1932 in Villa Rica, Carroll, Georgia.  He died on December 31, 2016 in Douglas County, Georgia.  He married Delores Katherine Bailey (daughter of Robert Bailey and Peggy Hilliard).  She was born on July 14, 1941 in Joplin, Missouri.  She died on October 20, 2007.

Marion Chalmers Mayfield was buried in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Douglas, Georgia.

He married Georgia Betty Jackson (daughter of Grover Lamar Jackson and Eunice Viola).  She was born on June 19, 1938 in Georgia.  She died on June 19, 2019 in Paulding County, Georgia.

Georgia Betty Jackson was buried at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, Paulding, Georgia.

There were no children to this union.

Notes:
Georgia had a daughter name Jacquelyn who was first married to Kenneth Rogers and then to Kelly Chandler.  I do not know who Georgia's first husband was or what Jacquelyn's maiden name would be.

Chalmers Mayfield, age 84, of Douglasville, GA passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016.
He was born on December 31, 1932 in Villa Rica, GA to the late Marion Asberry & Eunice Hall Mayfield.
He was also preceded in death by his former wife, Delores Bailey Mayfield; a sister, Mattie Autry; son in law, Kelly Chandler.
Mr. Mayfield worked for General Motors for more than 25 years. He was a member of New Genesis Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge for more than 30 years, and is currently a member of the Dallas Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Jackson Mayfield, of Douglasville, GA; sons, David Saunders of MS, Steven Saunders of Dallas, GA; daughters, Jacquelyn Chandler of Gainesville, GA, Debra Osborn, of Austin, TX, Sandy Mayfield of Dallas, GA; several grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 03, 2017 from the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery

Deloris Katherine "Bailey" Mayfield, 66, of Old Mill Road, Cartersville, Georgia passed away, Saturday, October 20, 2007. She was born July 14, 1941 in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of the late Robert and Peggy "Hilliard" Bailey. She worked for a retail grocer as cashier and was Baptist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, George Dupree. She is survived by her husband, Marion Chalmus Mayfield, of Cartersville, Georgia; two sons; David Saunders of Oxford, Mississippi and Steven Saunders of Cartersville, Georgia; two daughters; Debbie Osborn of Austin, Texas and Sandy Mayfield of Douglasville, Georgia; and one brother; Bobby Howard Bailey of Honalulu, Hawaii; three sisters; Mary McGivens of Slydell, Louisiana, Susan Bailey of Baltimore, Maryland, Diane Holroyd of Mulbane, Kansas, and seven grandchilden.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the Hightower's Memorial Chapel, Douglasville, Georgia with Reverend Buddy Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Lithia Springs, Georgia, with Michael Riley, Ken Adkins, Travis Dupree, Joey Ward, Riley Saunders and Dusty Dupree as Pallbearers. Georgia Betty Mayfield, age 81, of Douglasville (Paulding County), passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital.
Ms. Mayfield was born in Atlanta, GA, on June 19, 1938 to the late Grover Lamar Jackson and Eunice Viola Jackson. She was a faithful member of New Genesis Baptist Church. Ms. Mayfield was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Chalmers Mayfield; son in laws, Kenneth Rogers and Kelly Chandler; brother, Don Jackson and a sister, Elaine McFarland.
Survivors include her daughters, Jackie Chandler of Gainsville, GA, Sandy Mayfield of Douglasville, GA; three brothers, Wesley and Annette Jackson of Louisville, KY, Charles and Ellen Jackson of Fairburn, GA, and Larry Jackson of Douglasville, GA; three sisters, Bonnie and Roy Wallace of Douglasville, GA, Diane and Morgan Turner of Villa Rica, GA, and Debra Lucas of Douglasville, GA; extended generations and special friends.
The Funeral service for Ms. Mayfield will be held in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 3:00 PM. Interment will be at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery

Virginia Christine Cash

Virginia Christine Cash (daughter of John Thomas Cash and Estelle Bowling) was born on August 24, 1927 in New Hope, Chatham, North Carolina.  She died on March 19, 1990 in Chapel Hill, Orange, North Carolina.  She married Edward Lee Jackson on September 15, 1946 in Chalybeate Springs, Harnett, North Carolina.  He was born in 1926.

Virginia Christine Cash is buried at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington, Harnett, North Carolina.

Children to this union are unknown.

She married Archie Leonard Johnson (son of Archie Leonard Johnson and Myrtle Ruth Bell Morgan).  He was born on January 17, 1919 Durham, Durham, North Carolina.  He died on October 4, 1990 in Durham, Durham, North Carolina.

Archie Leonard Johnson is buried at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington, Harnett, North Carolina.
