Mattie Turner Mayfield

Mattie Turner Mayfield (daughter of Marion Asbury Mayfield and Eunice O. Hall) was born on August 12, 1923 in Villa Rica, Carroll, Georgia.  She died on June 11, 2014.   She married Robert Lee Autry (son of William Autry and Cora) in 1943.  He was born on October 27, 1915 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.  He died on August 6, 2010.

Mattie Turner Mayfield and Robert Lee Autry were buried in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, Paulding, Georgia.

Mattie Turner Autry, age 90, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. She was born on August 12, 1923, in Villa Rica, GA, to the late Marion & Eunice Mayfield, and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "R.L" Autry; and brothers, Charles Mayfield and Robert Mayfield.
Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Chalmers & Georgia Mayfield of Douglasville, GA; cousin, Brenda Taliaferro; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014, at 11 a.m., from Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Neal Williams and Reverend Doug Berry officiating.
Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 12, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Robert Lee Autry, age 94, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010. He was born on October 27, 1915, in Pauls Valley, OK, to the late William and Cora Autry. Mr. Autry was an United States Army Veteran.
Survivors are his wife of 67 years, Mattie Autry of Dallas; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Dale Autry of Missouri, and Frank & Karen Autry of Mississippi; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 9, 2010, at 11 a.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Lloyd Latham officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 8, 2010, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
