Funeral services for Mrs. Ettie McIntosh, 79, former Carroll Countian who died at her home in FitzGerald Tuesday morning after a short illness were held Thursday at 11 a. m. from the Lee's Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. Mrs. McIntosh was born in Carroll Co. Aug. 8, 1873. She had lived in FitzGerald about eight years moving there from this county. She was a member of Lee's Chapel Methodist Church where she joined as a young lady.
A number of years ago, she was married to Wallace McIntosh who died about 13 years ago.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Walter Armstrong of Route 2, Carrollton, Mrs. Claude Jones of Route 2, Bowden, Mrs. Lena Harvell of Columbus, Mrs. Charlie Potts of Osierfield, Route 1, and Mrs. Jessie Marlow and Mrs. Joe Arthur of Route 1, FitzGerald; one son, Hubie McIntosh of Route 5, Carrollton; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; to sisters, Mrs. Marcia Dyer of Route 1, Carrollton, and Mrs. Roy Horton of Route 2, Carrollton, three brothers, Pate, Mike, and Joe Powers all of Carrollton, Route 2.
