She married Moses Stanford Cash (son of Monroe Cash and Mahalia) on April 9, 1909 in Person County, North Carolina. He was born on March 10, 1860 in Person County, North Carolina. He died on May 27, 1942 in Durham County, North Carolina.
Susan Townsend and Moses Stanford Cash were buried in Mount Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Person County, North Carolina.

John Thomas Cash was born out of wedlock. I do not know if Moses was his father or if Moses adopted him after his marriage to Susan. Moses is listed on John's death certificate as his father, so I have him placed as a child of Moses here.
