Elsie Nell Kelley

Elsie Nell Kelley (daughter of James Henry Kelley and Ethel Lee Hall) was born on May 8, 1944 in Carroll County, Georgia.  She died on August 13, 2003 in Wedowee, Randolph. Alabama.  She married Junior Parrish.

Elsie Nell Kelley is buried in Corinth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowdon, Carroll, Georgia.

(WEDOWEE) Elsie Nell Parrish, 59, of Wedowee, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003, at her residence.
Mrs. Parrish was born May 8, 1944, in Carroll County, Ga., daughter of Ethel Hall Kelley and the late James Henry Kelley. She worked as a seamstress and Bremen-Bowdon Investment Co. and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Junior Parrish of Wedowee; her mother, Ethel Hall Kelley of Bowdon, Ga.; a daughter, Kerri Strain of Woodland; a brother, Wayne Kelley of Ranburne; three sisters, Beverly Hammond of Woodland, Jan Hosey of Ranburne and Kim Sewell of Newnan, Ga.; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kelley Skip Parrish and a brother, Danny Reed Kelley.
Services were at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, at Corinth Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gary Stewart and the Rev. Darnell Teal officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Nephews served as pallbearers. Music was by Petie Stewart and Tammy and Scott Johnson.
Arrangements were by Rainwater and West, Bowdon.
