Alton Thurman Cassell (son of Joseph Millard Cassell and Daisy VanDella Hall) was born on November 11, 1911. He died on December 10, 1979. He married Grace Pauline Reeves. She was born on August 26, 1917 in Burwell, Carroll, Georgia. She died on October 5, 1999 in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee.
Alton Thurman Cassell and Grace Pauline Reeves were buried in Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee.

CASSELL INFANT TO BE BURIED TODAY
Funeral services will be conducted at Bethlehem Baptist Church this morning at 10 o'clock by Rev J E Armistead for Linder Ruth Cassel, six week old infant of Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Cassell of Moreland. The child died yesterday, is survived by parents, brothers Jimmy and Robert and sister Shelby. J. U. McKoon will have charge, burial in the churchyard.
