John L. Cozart (son of John H. Cozart and Ann Fowler) was born in 1832 in North Carolina. He married Margaret Mooney (daughter of Mr. Mooney and Jane) on August 6, 1857 in Person County, North Carolina. She was born in 1839 in North Carolina.
Children of John L. Cozart and Margaret Mooney
1. James M. Cozart was born in 1858.
2. Rebecca J. Cozart was born in 1861.
Notes: Both John and Margaret died before 1870. I have not found either one on the 1870 census. Both children are living with relatives in 1870 and with their grandmother in 1880.
