Helen Gould Richardson

Helen Gould Richardson (daughter of Drury Vance Richardson and Mary Ellen Cozart) was born on May 9, 1903 in West Virginia. She died on November 2, 1986. She married Emile Alva Breithaupt (son of Truman A. Breithaupt and Caroline Collins). He was born on February 14, 1890 in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. He died on September 1, 1938 in Jonesville, Catahoula, Louisiana.

Helen Gould Richardson was buried at Greenwood Memorial Park in Pineville, Rapides, Louisiana. Emile Alva Breithaupt was buried at Nolley Memorial Methodist Cemetery in Jena, La Salle, Louisiana.

There were no children to this union.

She married William Bogart Bowers (son of William Bogart Bowers and Flora Evans) after 1940. He was born on September 16, 1902 in Tallulah, Madison, Louisiana. He died on December 10, 1954 in Pineville, Rapides, Louisiana.

William Bogart Bowers was buried at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, Madison, Louisiana.

Jonesville, LA., Sept. 3-- Dr. E. A. Breithaupt, aged 48, passed away in Feriday hospital, at 4 a.m., September 1, 1938. Deceased is survived by his widow, three brothers and one sister. The brothers are Messrs. Clyde Breithaupt, Phoenix, Ariz,; Walter Breithaupt, Minden; and Truman Breithaupt, Jena, La. His father, Mr. Truman Breithaupt, Sr., Jena, La. Funeral services are bring held Friday in the local Methodist church, with the services being directed by Rev. J. C. Sensintaffar, local pastor, and being assisted by Rev. Jerome Cain, pastor of the Goodpine-Trout charge and formerly of this place. Followed by interment in the Holly Memorial Cemetery at Jena.
Obituary of William Bogart Bowers – The Tallulah Madison Journal – December 17, 1954
William Bogart Bowers, Jr., age 52, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Pineville, La., Friday, December 10th. Mr. Bowers was born and reared in Madison Parish. His father, William B. Bowers, was a native of New Orleans, La., and his mother, formerly Flora Evans, of Morehouse Parish. Mr. Bowers had been with the Division of Research and Statistics, of the Conservation Department for many years. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Bowers; his mother, Mrs. Flora Bowers, Tallulah; one sister, Mrs. Hugh Montgomery, also of Tallulah; and numerous other relatives in this parish as well as other parts of Louisiana. Services were held Sunday, December 1 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Tallulah, the Reverend Edward Coleman, Rector of Mt. Olivet Episcopal Church, Pineville, officiating. Interment was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Mr. Frank Coogan, Mr. Darell Reed, Mr. Walace Barron, Mr. Lancaster Kell, Mr. Mandeville Kell, Dr. George Webb.
