Dorothy Eloise Meredith (daughter of James Carol Meredith and Ida S. Weaver) was born on August 12, 1891 in Butts County, Georgia. She died on November 28, 1942 in Buncombe County, North Carolina. She married Ira Gudleob Hinshaw on December 1, 1941 in Houston County, Georgia. He was born on May 15, 1893 in Randolph County, North Carolina. He died on November 29, 1984 in Asheville, Buncombe, North Carolina.
Dorothy Eloise Meredith was buried in Jackson City Cemetery in Jackson, Butts, Georgia. Ira Gudleob Hinshaw was buried in Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery in Franklinville, Randolph, North Carolina.
There were no children born to this union.
Notes:
Eloise's birth year is listed as 1891 in the 1900 census and her age reflects an 1892 birth year in the 1910 and 1940 censuses. I feel the birth year on her grave stone and death certificate are incorrect.
