Clarence Britton Nordan

Clarence Britton Nordan (son of James Nordan and Penny Rebecca Byrd) was born on October 9, 1909 in Harnett County, North Carolina.  He died on October 22, 1991 in Dunn, Harnett, North Carolina.   He married Lida Ivey.  Lida was born on July 4, 1917 in Harnett County, North Carolina.  She died on November 30, 1999 in Cumberland County, North Carolina.

Clarence Britton Nordan is buried at Devotional Gardens in Dunn, Harnett, North Carolina.  Lida Ivey is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Dunn, Harnett, North Carolina.

He married Irene Wilkins (daughter of Harvey E. Wilkins and Mallie Cozart) on November 7, 1936 in Coats, Harnett, North Carolina.  . She was born on July 17, 1918 in North Carolina. She died on May 5, 1944 in Dukes, Harnett, North Carolina.  

Irene Wilkins was buried in Rawls Baptist Church Cemetery in Harnett County, North Carolina.

He married Flossie Mae Adams (daughter of Charlie Adams and Rosa) on March 16, 1951 in Jackson County, North Carolina.  She was born on January 16, 1913 in Johnson County, North Carolina.  She died on May 21, 2003 in Dunn, Harnett, North Carolina.

Children to this union are unknown.

Obituary of Lida Ivey Nordan -- The Fayetteville Observer - December 1, 1999
DUNN -- Ms. Lida Ivey Nordan, 82, of Dunn died Tuesday in her home.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Sansom Community Church by the Rev. Jerome Pope. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Ms. Nordan is survived by two brothers, Charles Ivey of Coats and Eldridge Ivey of Dunn; two sisters, Bertha Jones and Hazel Williams, both of Dunn; three grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Home.
