Sally Vina Maybelle Hale

Sally Vina Maybelle Hale (daughter of Andrew Jackson Hale and Lucy Permelia Vinna Norris) was born on May 25, 1906 in Randolph County, Alabama and died on November 14, 1997 in New Smyrna Beach, Volusia, Florida. She married Cotis C. Buchanan. He was born on May 07, 1900 in Georgia and died on April 08, 1979 in Troup County, Georgia.

Sally and Cotis are buried in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, Troup, Georgia.

The obituary for Sally mentions a grandson named Charles K. Winn.  He must be a son of a daughter of hers who married a Winn.  I have no documentation on any children from Sally and Cotis.  Any further information on this family would be appreciated.

Mrs. Sally Hale Buchanan, 91, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., formerly of Hogansville, died Nov. 14, 1997, at Hospice of Volusia-Flagler in Port Orange, Fla. Born May 25, 1906 in Randolph County, Ala., Mrs. Buchanan was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Hale and Lucy Norris Hale and the wife of the late Cotis C. Buchanan.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Longshore and the Rev. Dalton Hammock officiating. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange.
She is survived by her grandson, Charles K. Winn of New Smyrna Beach.
