Jenkins High School and a student at Armstrong Atlantic State University. The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Connett of Missouri and the l ate Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Hendricks of Beaufort, South Carolina. He is a graduate of A.E. Beach High School and Armstrong Atlantic State University. The wedding will take place on May 13, 2006 at Immanuel Baptist Church.

Jennifer Lynn Farmer and Charlton Lee Connett were married on Saturday, May 13, 2006, a t three o'clock in the afternoon at Immanuel Baptist Church. Reverend Larry Williams officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dexter Farmer of Savannah. She is the granddaughter of Mr. an d Mrs. H. E. Swayngham of Carrollton, Georgia and Mrs. Louise Basden and the late Mr. L. C. Farmer of Bowdon, Georgia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Connett of Savannah. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Connett of Missouri and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Hendricks of Beaufort, South Carolina. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Michelle Farm er as her maid of honor. Her bridesmaids were Ginger Crews, cousin of the bride, Amanda Alderman and Katie Smith. The flower girl was Kiersten Connett, niece of the groom. The groom chose Josh Bjerke as his best man. His groomsmen were Jonathan Connett, brother of the groom, Willie King, and Josh Squyres. Ring bearers were Cody and Cole Carswell. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at t he Family Life Center. After a honeymoon cruise to Alaska, the couple will reside in Savannah.
