Rachel Lurania Melvina Hale (daughter of William W. Hale and Mary) was born on November 29, 1836 in Georgia. She died after 1900.She never married, but had several children.
1. Amos Pinkney Hale was born on May 31, 1857.
2. Nancy Josephine Hale was born in 1859.
3. Stephen T. Hale was born on August 14, 1861.
4. Charles Monroe Hale was born in February 1868.
5. Union Elizabeth Hale was born on March 15, 1872.
