John T. Aycock

John T. Aycock was born on July 16, 1838 in Georgia. He died on May 20, 1906. He married Nancy Ann Lucas.

Children of John T. Aycock and Nancy Ann Lucas are:
1.  Frank Aycock was born in 1868 in Georgia.
2.  Oscar Aycock was born in October 1869 in Georgia.
3.  Angie Aycock was born in 1872 in Georgia.
4.  William Ernest Aycock was born in 1877 in Georgia.

He married Sarah Emily Farmer (daughter of William Farmer and Frances S. St. John). She was born on April 24, 1845 in Georgia. She died on March 29, 1919.

Sarah and John were buried at Philadelphia Methodist Church Cemetery in Conyers, Newton, Georgia.

There were no children born to this union.

I am not related to the descendants of John T. Aycock and Nancy Ann Lucas, so their descendants will not be recorded in this file.
John served in the Civil War in CO B3 Georgia State Troops, Walker S. Brigade, in the Confederate Army.

William Ernest, Sr. was my grandfather. Too my knowledge, there were no other children after my great-grandmothe r Nancy Ann Lucas Aycock died (in childbirth). So, at 4 children, you are correct. Let me know if you stumble across anything. I'll do likewise. Thanks!

Exactly, John first married Nancy Lucas, with whom he had all his children. Nancy died in childbirth, and John remarried very quickly to Sara Farmer. John and Sara, though they had no children together, were married much longer than he was to Nancy. Being so young, I'm sure most of the children grew to consider Sara their mother. John and Sara are interred at together at a local church. I forget which one.
